Jeffrey Blank, DPM
Dr. Jeffrey Blank is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, formerly the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He was also a charter Board Certified member of the American Board of Podiatric Acupuncture. Additionally he is Certified by the WENSKE Board of LASER Surgery and is a Certified provider of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy. He completed his first residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago which emphasized podiatric and orthopedic medicine and surgery, emergency and trauma medicine, diabetic foot problems, and foot related infections. He then completed a second, two year surgical residency at Edgewater Medical Center, Chicago, IL which specialized in advanced reconstructive and elective foot and ankle surgery, pediatric foot and ankle surgery, arthoscopic/endoscopic and laser surgery.
For many years, Dr. Blank commuted between the Chicagoland area and South Florida. In Chicago and Crystal Lake, he provided podiatric services, surgical services, consultation services and taught at several Podiatric residency programs. He also practiced in South Florida and he is still the Medical/Clinical Director of Quality Podiatry Group of Florida, an organization which provides Podiatric services to thousands of long term care facility patients.
He offers a wide range of goods and services from the conservative management of foot and ankle problems to surgical services. He is also a provider of DME goods and provides diabetic shoes and braces to many patients. Dr. Blank has a special interest in treating peripheral neuropathy and may offer some unique approaches which have been successful for many patients.
Personally, Dr. Blank enjoys traveling with his family and he is a SCUBA Divemaster and enjoys traveling to wine regions to enhance his collection of fine wines.
Paul Potach, DPM
Dr. Paul Potach has been practicing podiatry in Wheeling for over 30 years. He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1986. He is a member of the Methodist Hospital and regularly participates in continuing education. Dr. Potach specializes in laser surgery and his practice features the only surgical suite in Wheeling.
